Who am I?
Ah, the question of the century. I'm the youngest child of a large nuclear family and one of the youngest of my generation of a large but close extended family. I grew up in the Midwestern states of the United States but currently live in Japan much of the year and travel the Pacific by ship the rest of the year.
Why did I make this website?
I built this website by hand (no designer programs or the such) because I don't have a lot of people around me willing and qualified to edit my stories and give me good feedback. Although I have friends willing to read my writing and nicely tell me they didn't like it or that it was good when they really couldn't get past the first page, few of them can tell me why they didn't like it. When non-writers read a book, they rarely notice if a character is flat or two dimensional or that the story-line is lost in the plot or nonexistent. Normal readers can often tell that they like a story or not but few readers know how to look at a book like a writer does and actually suggest how it can get better.
What if you aren't a writer?
Don't worry if you aren't a writer, I still value your feedback and want to know if you have any ideas. I see things from a writer's perspective and may miss something that a regular reader, one who has likely read more or different books from me and may be able to compare me to other writers they know, may catch. Let me know if you like it or hate it, just don't try to be nice. If you hate the story, let me know and why you think it was so bad. It always amuses me when I ask what someone thought and see they obviously hated it but as my friend are trying to be nice. I'm a very blunt person in real life and want honesty over sparing my feelings.
